Known on the gospel scene as the "Trumpet Lady", Syreeta Thompson is musically versatile and flexible with an ear unlike any other in the industry. She is has an amazing talent and beautiful spirit. Fluent in all aspects of jazz, she brings a unique sound to the gospel arena. One of her premier achievements to date is her role as the Instrumental Music Coordinator for Dorinda Clark Cole’s Singers and Musicians Conference. She has been a featured artist for Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat, I Hear Music in the Air Cincinnati, Ohio, and she was the featured artist at this year’s Chicago Gospel Announcers Guild. She is the Department Chair of Instrumental Music for Cicely Tyson School of fine and Performing Arts, East Orange, NJ.
