Syreeta
Syreeta is an accomplished trumpeter and vocalist who hails from Chicago, IL. She began studying music at the tender age of twelve at the Merit Music Program and Sherwood Conservatory of Music in Chicago, Illinois. Shortly, there after, she began playing in local churches, accompanying various ensembles and choirs.
Syreeta is a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and she holds a Masters Degree in film scoring and jazz composition and arranging. She is a stellar award nominee but most listeners are familiar with Syreeta’s spicy horn lines that can be heard with Pastor Hezekiah Walker and The Love Fellowship Choir. In addition, Syreeta serves as the Instrumental music coordinator for Dr Dorinda Clark Cole’s singers and musicians conference.
In recent times, she has been a featured artist for Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreat and I hear Music In The Air Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, she was the featured artist at this years Chicago Gospel Announcers Guild and she currently serves as a faculty member for Gospel Music Workshop of America. Syreeta states“ Her main
